Town Hall: Madam President will answer any & all RCB Formal related questions, help with registration (if needed), and lay down the Nancy Law (provide a more thorough look at the evening). Swing Dancing Fireside: Come to this XRC event to learn the basics of swing dancing from a Hobart fellow! RSVP here. Niche Powerpoint Night: Niche Powerpoint Night is your excuse to share all your secret knowledge, talents, and obsessions with your fellow Willardites. The only rules are that there should be a Powerpoint presentation involved, and you must not, cannot say anything normal. So get bullet-pointing.


RCB Event



What? Each year, the Residential College Board (of which Willard is a member) hosts a formal, aka an evening of (non-alcoholic ) drinks, dress up, and dancing! When? November 18, 2023 (a Saturday); bus loading is to begin at approximately 6:30PM (transportation, both ways, will be provided) Where? The Chicago History Museum Ticket sales are NOW OPEN via Norris Box Office; with Willard’s subsidy (willardresident), each ticket (for both residents and non-residents) will be $15 (no service fees!). If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact Willard’s D&I Chair, Kalaiya Corbin (kalaiyacorbin2026@u.northwestern.edu). Ticket sales close Oct. 25, 2023.

Letter Writing: Write home! Write a letter to your friend! Write a letter to your enemy! Request your absentee ballot! Polka Party!: A longstanding tradition, Polka Party is an occasion for Fellows and Woos to join together for a night of dancing, snacks, and polka music. Residents compete to assemble the most colorful, silly, and downright bizarre costumes for the event! You must RSVP by Wednesday, October 11 to attend this event. There will be a check-in station at the entrance, so make sure to bring your Wildcard! The address for Parkes Hall is 1870 Sheridan Rd. Willard members are allowed to bring 1 non-Willard guest to Polka Party. Guests must be Northwestern students. If you are planning to bring a guest, you must email their full name to Margaret (margaretsprigg-dudley2026@u.northwestern.edu) by October 11. RSVP here! Clark Street Beach Planting: Volunteer to plant, weed, mulch, and sow seeds at Clark Street Beach aka South Beach (less than ten minute walk from Willard)! Please wear closed toe shoes, long sleeves, long pants, and a hat, and bring water. Volunteer Waiver here. Required for all participants. Please fill out the waiver ahead of time!
